My Dream Camp Menu!!

Camp MENU  

 

BREAKFAST

Heart shaped pancakes with chocolate syrup, golden syrup and lemon with lots and lots of sugar!

MORNING TEA

Left over (from breakfast) heart shaped pancakes and raspberries, strawberries and blueberries, chocolate sundae with chocolate sprinkles!

LUNCH

Ham and egg sandwich with coke zero and french vanilla icecream with chocolate syrup.  

AFTERNOON TEA

Chocolate icecream and vanilla ice cream and comes with strawberries and raspberries.

DINNER

Beef Wellington and crinkle cut fries, peas and corn on the cob.

DESERT  

Apple and strawberry crumble with heaps of custard and cream or vanilla\french vanilla ice cream on the side. Then chocolate and vanilla milkshake before bed.

Tasting Sweet Summer.

Summer!  

Do you remember tasting summer?  

I do!!   

Swimming with your best friend and getting sore from swimming? That was summer.  

Stepping on to the hot sand with shoes on and it coming into your shoes and burning? That was summer.

Lying on the soft green grass and getting dead grass on your shirt and your arms and legs itching from the grass? That was summer.

When you were climbing your favourite tree and the wind made your hair turn into a whirlpool? That was summer.

Do you remember sitting on the couch eating an ice cream and chocolate making a puddle in your lap?  

That was summer.   

Going to Camp Kaitawa and wanting to jump into Lake Waikaremoana!  

That was summer!  

This is my tasting sweet summer poem. I have based it on my own ideas and some of my best friend Paige's. (Here is the link to her blog.)

More from Neelix. Neelix and the monarch butterfly.

“Where’s the camera Mum?” I asked her. I asked for the camera because I put a dandelion on Neelix’s ear. BUT when I got back he had shaken the flower off and had pounced on a monarch butterfly. I picked Neelix up and said to him.

”What did you do you mean kitty cat? You killed an innocent butterfly!!!” I took a video of him anyway. “This is Neelix. The mean cat that did this!” I swung the camera around onto the butterfly. “You are a mean puddy cat Neelix. Mean mean mean!”

Then I put the camera on him and asked questions. “Would you call yourself a murderer?” Then he flicked his tail at me and at the camera and got fur all over the lens and lay down by the fence.

I wiped the fur off on my shorts. Neelix had got up and left and I got a picture of him racing across the road. “Stupid kitty cat!!” I yelled out to him. I got the opportunity to get a video and a couple of photos.
